Box card

This idea has been in my head for about a year. Maybe longer- time has been flying, and there's been a lot going on. Busy year, with selling our house, moving provinces, getting settled and being close to family again.

BUT- it has finally seen the light of day, and was posted on my YouTube channel today.

I saw a video with a similar idea somewhere, but honestly cannot remember where, but I do recall it being done in French, and there were a few more steps to the original card. This one is way easier, and get the same basic result- a card that's easy to display, with loads of room to write a message.

Supplies used:

Let it Ride stamp set
Braided Burlap ribbon
Country Club DSP
Garden Green cardstock
Crumb Cake cardstock

For the box:
8.5 by 5.5 inch piece of Garden Green, scored at 2 1/8, 4 1/4, 6 3/8.
1 by 5.5 inch piece of Garden Green scored at 1/2 inch.

Score and burnish the card stock. Close the seam at the ends by adhering the 1 inch strip to the cardstock.

Decorate the panels with DSP of your choice (Country Club used here), cut at 5 1/4 by 1 7/8.

The insert panel is 4 by 5 1/2, and the DSP is 3 3/4x 5 1/4 and the Crumb Cake piece is 3 1/2 by 5.

When decorating the outside, be sure to not tape the cardstock panels across the fold, because it won't stand if you do.

I hope you have fun with this fold- be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and visit my Facebook page for more fun and inspiration!
