Hot chocolate gifts...

It's been rainy here all day. There's nothing I love more on a cool rainy day than curling up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate. Well, maybe there's something I love slightly more... creating in my loft!
There's lots of patterns in Internet land for these hot chocolate packets. I wanted something quick and easy that the kids and I could make together to send out for Christmas. These fit the bill. They required few supplies, and minimal time. You could make enough for a whole classroom of children in under an hour, I'd bet!
On to day two of the 12 Days of Christmas 2016!
 Supplies used:
Christmas Wishes stamp set
Stampin' Up markers- (I used the Regals set)
Plain cardstock (Real Red and Chocolate Chip here)
Candy Cane Lane DSP
Tag Topper punch

  • Cut cardstock to 6x6. Measure three inches across one side and mark it. Do the same on the other side and draw a faint line.
  • Mark the centre with a small dot. (You can just see the dot on the sample below).
  • Fold three corners to the middle.
  • Run tape where indicated.
  • Cut DSP to 4x4. Adhere to the front of the packet.
  • Round the top envelope flap, if desired.
  • Cut white DSP to create a label. This one is 2 inches wide by 2.25 inches high. Run through Tag Topper punch.
  • Stamp and colour as desired.
  • Fill with a package or hot chocolate and tuck a candy cane in for good measure.

I hope you have fun creating these quick and easy gifts! They are great to tuck into a gift bag, or to give to someone to let them know you're thinking about them.

Happy crafting!
