Halfway- 12 days of Christmas, day 6

I've always loved the look of these treat holders. They are a breeze to make, and are super cute.
The patterns I have seen have always been a little on the small side, so, today, I decided to see what would happen by making them bigger.
Each treat holder is made with half a sheet of 8.5x11 paper, and will hold about 24 Hershey Kisses or  1 packet of hot chocolate mix and 8 peppermint patties.

 Supplies for this project:

Cardstock of your choice (I used Old Olive and Real Red)
Double sided tape
Goodies for the inside of the packages
Cookie Cutter Christmas and Christmas Magic stamp sets
Stampin' Up Regals markers
Candy Cane Lane DSP

Cut the cardstock, tape the edge
Crimp, and tape the inside of the tube to create a cone.
Burnish the end with a bone folder or your finger to ensure a good seal.
Fill the holder with treats and tape the other side at a 90 degree angle from the first tape line. You should have one vertical and one horizontal seam.

Decorate the outside as desired. I will be having these at a craft sale this weekend, and have marked each type with the decoration used.

These can be made any size by altering the size of the rectangle. As long as there is about a two inch difference between the width and height, it should work.

Tomorrow's idea is perfect for the wine lover on your list!

Happy crafting!
